Discipline Engineer - Autonomous Driving Algorithms

Key Responsibilities - Research, develop, benchmark, test, and document state-of-the-art algorithms for autonomous driving systems - Explore and evaluate new vision and sensor technologies, ideas, and technical approaches - Support Intellectual Property activities and prepare Invention Disclosure Memos to facilitate patent applications - Participate in and contribute to design reviews across multiple algorithm development teams - Develop algorithms with a focus on deployment on embedded automotive platforms - Represent Valeo at industry working groups, conferences, and external technical forums - Support the design and delivery of in-company training sessions within your area of expertise - Identify process inefficiencies and propose or implement improvements in algorithm development workflows - Stay current with advancements in ADAS, deep learning frameworks, and automotive sensor technologies Required Qualifications - Strong background in algorithm development for autonomous driving or ADAS applications - Hands-on experience with vision-based and other automotive sensor technologies - Proficiency in deep learning frameworks and techniques relevant to automotive applications - Experience with embedded platform development and deployment constraints - Ability to contribute to IP generation and patent disclosure processes - Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and external representation - Experience working in multi-cultural, globally distributed engineering teams Why Join Us At Valeo, you will be part of one of the world's most innovative companies, collaborating with over 20,000 R&D engineers across 31 countries in a diverse and growth-oriented environment.
