Delivery Operations Associate Manager - Trade Finance

Role Overview Accenture in India is hiring a Delivery Operations Associate Manager specializing in Trade Processing, Asset Servicing, and Trade Finance. This role is part of the Applied Technology and Operations for Markets (ATOM) platform, a multi-client on-demand processing service that supports trading and treasury operations for global clients. You will play a key role in managing corporate actions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a small-to-mid-sized operations team. Key Responsibilities - Monitor market sources including custodians, exchanges, and SWIFT messages for upcoming voluntary corporate actions - Validate event details such as terms, deadlines, eligibility, and tax implications and ensure accurate setup in corporate actions systems - Notify clients of voluntary corporate actions through official channels and manage their responses and elections - Capture and validate client instructions, process elections accurately, and submit them before market deadlines - Calculate entitlements based on event terms and reconcile them against custodian records - Identify and escalate discrepancies in event terms or entitlements and resolve operational breaks - Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including SEC, FCA, MiFID II, and CSDR - Apply correct tax treatment based on client jurisdiction and process withholding tax reclaims where applicable - Perform daily reconciliations of corporate action positions and work with finance and settlement teams for accurate postings - Liaise with custodians, depositaries, and counterparties to confirm elections and process dividend payments for normal and SBL trades Required Qualifications - Any graduate degree from a recognized institution - 10 to 14 years of relevant experience in trade finance or asset servicing operations - Strong process orientation with hands-on troubleshooting experience - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work with minimal guidance on new assignments and manage small to medium-sized teams - Experience working with corporate actions systems and familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements Why Join Us Accenture is a globally recognized professional services company operating across more than 120 countries, offering unmatched opportunities for career growth and learning.
