Channel Team Lead - Quick Commerce Last Mile Delivery

Role Overview Amazon is hiring a Channel Team Lead for its Quick Commerce Last Mile operations at Delivery Centers across Chennai. In this role, you will drive IHS store operations, manage Delivery Service Partners, and support the DC Manager in achieving above-goal performance. You will play a key role in building a high-performing field team while ensuring a seamless last mile delivery experience for Amazon customers. Key Responsibilities - Identify, onboard, and manage IHS retail store accounts within the assigned territory through regular market mapping and field visits - Build and execute strategic account plans to drive business growth for both channel partners and Amazon - Deliver hands-on training to store partners on Amazon processes, SOPs, product launches, and operational best practices - Maintain and publish performance reports, network health updates, and data-driven action plans for the territory - Lead and mentor a multi-layer team of associates, setting clear expectations and managing performance through coaching - Handle day-to-day operational escalations and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly - Drive stores against key metrics including volume, First Time Right delivery rate, and other defined KPIs - Oversee on-the-road execution for a network handling 20,000 plus packages, managing Delivery Service Partners and drivers Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or MBA, preferably with a background in Sales or Telecom - Minimum 1 year of sales experience; 2 or more years preferred - Proficiency in Advanced Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills - Proven experience in operations management and people handling - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights - Demonstrated leadership ability with high ownership and customer-first mindset - Comfortable working in ambiguous, high-pressure, and fast-paced environments Why Join Us Amazon offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment where your contributions directly impact millions of customers across India.
