Channel Team Lead - Last Mile Operations (AMZL)

Role Overview Amazon is hiring a Channel Team Lead for its Last Mile Delivery Station operations in Chennai. In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery operations from the dispatch station to the customer's doorstep and work closely with the DS Site Lead on performance management and operational execution. Key Responsibilities - Define, build, and execute the complete delivery process from the delivery station to the customer address - Lead, engage, and develop a highly motivated delivery associate team focused on performance and accountability - Continuously improve delivery workflows through structured training programs and process enhancements - Identify and eliminate waste, unnecessary tasks, and quality gaps to raise operational standards - Analyse data reports to detect performance bottlenecks and implement targeted corrective actions - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on operational goals and delivery targets Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (mandatory); degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent preferred - Strong leadership and people management capabilities with hands-on team supervision experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to align teams around shared objectives - Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to instil a customer-first mindset across the team - Proven analytical skills to interpret operational data, validate findings, and recommend improvements - Background in marketing, end-to-end sales, people management, or basic data analytics is an advantage Why Join Us Amazon offers an inclusive, empowering culture where talented individuals are encouraged to take ownership and drive real impact at scale.
