Associate - M&A Advisory - Strategy and Transactions

This Associate-level opportunity within the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) practice focuses on M&A Advisory services, helping corporate clients, private equity firms, governments, and family businesses navigate complex financial decisions. You will be part of a sector-agnostic national team working across diverse industries and capital transactions. Key Responsibilities - Support deal closures end-to-end including preparation of pitch decks, information memorandums, and financial models - Conduct in-depth research and analysis using databases such as Private Circle, Mergermarket, and VC Circle - Communicate insights and deliverables effectively to CXO-level stakeholders through written and oral presentations - Collaborate with senior team members on Investment Banking Advisory, Valuations, Modeling, Transaction Diligence, and Restructuring mandates - Contribute to Connected Capital Solutions offerings including Buy and Integrate, Sell and Separate, and Corporate Finance - Work with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to create client-ready materials and financial outputs Required Qualifications - Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA from a premier business school - Prior experience in investment banking or M&A transactions - Proficiency in financial modeling, pitch deck creation, and information memorandum preparation - Strong verbal and written communication skills with CXO-level audiences - Working knowledge of deal databases such as Private Circle, Mergermarket, and VC Circle - Understanding of the manufacturing sector is preferred but not mandatory Why Join Us EY is recognized as one of the most attractive employers globally, offering a personalized Career Journey, continuous learning investments, and the chance to work alongside market-leading entrepreneurs and industry disruptors.
