Associate - Fund Accounting

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of one of Europe's largest banks, is hiring a Fund Accounting Associate at its Chennai delivery center. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh commerce or accounting graduate to build a strong career in fund accounting and financial services. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for accurate and timely Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation and reporting for mutual funds across multiple global clients. Key Responsibilities - Learn and master the end-to-end NAV calculation process including custody, transfer agency, pricing, and corporate actions - Ensure all reconciliation breaks in cash, stock, and transfer agency records are validated and justified for each NAV cycle - Produce NAV calculations within SLA timelines while maintaining a quality accuracy rate of 98% or above - Prepare, generate, and archive NAV packs and reports in a complete and timely manner - Monitor team mailboxes and respond promptly to internal and external queries - Support month-end and year-end activities and act as a backup for team members when required - Contribute at least one process improvement or automation initiative per quarter - Assist in drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures for processes migrated to the Chennai centre Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field - Strong attention to detail and a structured, organised approach to work - Good written and verbal communication skills in English - Basic analytical ability and willingness to learn fund accounting concepts - Team-oriented attitude with the ability to collaborate across functions - Ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict intraday deadlines Why Join Us BNP Paribas is a globally recognised institution operating in 65 countries with nearly 185,000 employees, and joining the India Solutions team means being part of a culture that champions diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
