Full Stack Developer

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of one of Europe's leading banks, is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their Market and Financing Services IT team in Chennai. In this mid-senior role, you will lead Java and UI upgrade initiatives, enforce secure coding standards, and serve as a subject matter expert in Java, Spring, and Angular technologies. You will play a pivotal role in supporting BP2S clients across financial services including cash services, foreign exchange, securities lending, and collateral management. Key Responsibilities - Take end-to-end ownership of complex Java, Spring, and Spring Boot development tasks - Implement SAML, OAuth 2.0, and other Single Sign-On security protocols - Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews to uphold quality standards - Design and develop RESTful web services using a microservices architecture - Identify and remediate application vulnerabilities flagged by security scanning tools - Develop, test, and support deployment of application features across the full stack - Contribute to technical analysis, design documentation, and impact assessments Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in full stack Java development - Strong proficiency in Java 8, JEE 1.8 including JSP, JSTL, Servlet, and JDBC - Solid experience with Spring Security, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit - Proficiency in Angular 14 or above for front-end development - Strong PL/SQL skills with Oracle database experience - Familiarity with application servers such as Tomcat or WebLogic - Working knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, GitLab, and Eclipse IDE - Understanding of Agile or iterative software development methodologies - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification Why Join Us BNP Paribas offers a collaborative, inclusive, and globally connected work environment where your expertise will directly impact large-scale financial technology solutions serving clients across 65 countries.
