Associate - Cash Investigations Office

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Associate to join its Cash Investigations Office in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, handling, and following up on claims and queries related to cash flows across multiple locations. You will collaborate with internal teams, counterparts, and cash correspondents while supporting Cash Management activities across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Investigate and resolve cash flow claims raised by clients or counterparts within defined turnaround times while maintaining high service quality - Perform banking reconciliation and ensure accuracy in transaction processing and data capture - Communicate proactively with correspondents, counterparts, and internal stakeholders to provide operational insights and practical solutions - Monitor volumes, workloads, and recurring issues, presenting improvement ideas and solutions to management - Identify, report, and mitigate operational risks for all cases handled by the team - Support management in day-to-day operations and contribute to transversal projects when required - Participate actively in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field - Up to 2 years of experience in banking and financial operations - Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical ability with a keen attention to detail and organisational skills - Working knowledge of risk management principles and client-focused approach Why Join Us BNP Paribas is the European Union's leading bank operating across 65 countries with nearly 185,000 employees worldwide, offering a truly global career platform.
