AVP - Fund Administration (IC Role)

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions is looking for an experienced AVP in Fund Administration for an Individual Contributor role based in Chennai. This is a senior-level opportunity within the Fund Accounting and Administration function, requiring deep domain expertise to manage daily NAV delivery operations for Mutual Funds. The ideal candidate will bring strong process ownership, risk management acumen, and a passion for operational transformation within a globally integrated banking environment. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily complex BAU operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of Net Asset Values for Mutual Funds - Act as preparer and reviewer for fund accounting processes while maintaining strict quality controls and compliance protocols - Identify control gaps proactively, implement mitigating measures, and serve as SPOC during internal and external audit periods - Ensure incident management protocols are followed by self and team, with all exceptions documented and resolved within agreed timelines - Drive continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at achieving efficiency targets and reducing operational risk - Lead or support business migration activities involving transfer of functions from other global locations in line with ERS strategy - Maintain client service review scorecards at a rating of 4 or above and ensure consistent green KPI delivery - Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators for the process and ensure adherence to service level agreements - Collaborate closely with satellite teams including Middle Office, Pricing, Corporate Actions, and Transfer Agency - Support integration of AI tools and automation to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency Required Qualifications - Graduate or postgraduate degree, with M.Com or MBA in Finance preferred - Minimum 12 years of overall experience with at least 10 years of dedicated Fund Accounting domain expertise - End-to-end knowledge of the NAV cycle and the roles of upstream teams in fund operations - Strong understanding of Fund Accounting systems, data flows, and control frameworks - Proven experience in business continuity planning and operational transformation projects - Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels - Exposure to internal and external audit management and BNP Paribas control processes is an advantage - High compliance standards with a thorough understanding of conduct-related policies Why Join Us BNP Paribas is the European Union's leading bank with operations in 65 countries and a workforce of nearly 185,000 professionals globally.
