Associate - Data Administration

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Associate to join its Data Administration team in Chennai. This entry-level full-time role sits within the IFSO business line and supports the Fund Administration function by managing security setups, pricing activities, and corporate action processing to enable accurate NAV calculations across global client portfolios spanning APAC, UK, and EMEA regions. Key Responsibilities - Update prevailing security prices across multiple accounting applications to support fund valuation including NAV and GAV calculations for clients across APAC, UK, and EMEA - Set up reference data for various financial instruments in respective accounting platforms for multiple regions - Process dividend and corporate action events using inputs from multiple vendor sources to help Fund Accounting teams record income and portfolio events accurately - Manage index, benchmark, and fund setups in B-One and Cispeo, and monitor fund and index data acquisition from vendors to meet agreed SLAs - Deliver L1, L2, and L3 services to IADS clients and ensure timely, complete data delivery - Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and controls to verify completeness of processing and resolve any discrepancies promptly - Participate in brainstorming sessions, ad-hoc projects, and new initiatives while keeping procedures current and updated Required Qualifications - Bachelor or postgraduate degree in BBA, B.Com, M.Com, or MBA - Basic understanding of capital markets and investment banking concepts - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel - Familiarity with financial data vendors such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Reuters is an advantage - Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a client-focused mindset - Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required - Certification in investment banking or capital markets is an added advantage Why Join Us BNP Paribas is the European Union's leading bank operating across 65 countries with nearly 185,000 employees worldwide, and its India Solutions arm in Chennai offers a dynamic, inclusive, and innovation-driven environment.
