Associate - Data Administration

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Associate to join the Data Administration team under the IFSO function in Chennai. In this entry-level full-time role, you will be responsible for setting up security reference data in accounting platforms, pricing securities through dedicated tools, and processing corporate actions to support the Fund Administration team in accurate NAV calculations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across APAC, UK, and EMEA regions while managing high volumes of financial data with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Update prevailing security prices across multiple applications to help fund accountants determine market values for NAV and GAV calculations across APAC, UK, and EMEA regions - Set up reference data for various financial instruments in respective accounting platforms to support asset creation across multiple geographies - Process dividend and corporate action events using inputs from multiple vendor sources so that Fund Accounting teams can accurately record income and portfolio events - Manage index, benchmark, and fund setup in B-One and Cispeo, and monitor fund and index data acquisition from vendors to ensure timely delivery to IADS within agreed SLAs - Carry out L1, L2, and L3 service activities for IADS clients and perform daily, weekly, and monthly controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of processing - Participate in brainstorming sessions, share best practices, review and update SOPs, and contribute to ad-hoc projects and new initiatives Required Qualifications - Bachelor or postgraduate degree in BBA, B.Com, M.Com, or MBA - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel - Basic understanding of capital markets and investment banking concepts - Familiarity with financial data vendors such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Reuters is an added advantage - Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail - Willingness and flexibility to work in rotational shifts - Certification in Investment Banking or Capital Markets is a bonus Why Join Us BNP Paribas India Solutions is a globally recognized financial institution offering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment where your growth and contributions are genuinely valued.
