The Associate Consultant role within the Forensics Investigations and Compliance team in Chennai presents an outstanding opportunity for finance and audit professionals to work on high-impact mandates involving fraud risk, regulatory compliance, and corporate integrity. Key Responsibilities - Execute client engagements end-to-end, delivering high-quality work products within agreed timelines and in line with the engagement scope - Adhere strictly to the firm's risk management policies and procedures at every stage of the engagement lifecycle - Stay current on key business and industry trends relevant to client environments and apply those insights meaningfully - Identify opportunities to improve client service delivery, strengthen client relationships, and drive engagement efficiency - Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills in both internal team settings and client-facing interactions - Contribute actively to a collaborative, high-performing team culture and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives - Travel as needed to fulfil client deliverables and engagement commitments Required Qualifications - Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce, or Master of Business Administration from a recognised institution - Semi-Qualified CA or CFE certification will be considered an added advantage - UG candidates must have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as Investigations, Cyber Forensics, Computer Forensics, Forensic Data Analysis, Fraud Risk Assessment, IRP engagements, Anti-bribery, Anti-corruption, AML, Sanctions, Internal Audit, or Process Audit - PG, Semi-Qualified, or CFE candidates with 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in the above domains are also eligible - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset - Agile, curious, and adaptable personality with a commitment to continuous professional development Why Join Us EY has consistently emerged as one of the strongest employer brands in professional services, and joining this team means working alongside market-leading disruptors and visionaries on complex, meaningful mandates. Requirements

- Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce, or MBA - Semi-Qualified CA or CFE certification preferred - Experience in Forensic Investigations, Cyber Forensics, or Computer Forensics - Knowledge of Fraud Risk Assessment and Forensic Data Analysis - Familiarity with AML, Sanctions, Anti-bribery, and Anti-corruption frameworks - Experience with IRP engagements under Insolvency proceedings - Background in Internal Audit or Process Audit - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and client departments - Willingness to travel for client engagements
