Job Description

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions is looking for a seasoned PMO professional to lead and continuously evolve the Project Management Office supporting enterprise-wide delivery across multiple departments and geographic locations. This role sits within the Transversal Change Management department and oversees a portfolio of mission-critical processing solutions including Transactions Input, Reconciliation, Fund Valuation, Cash Processing, Reporting, and Transfer Agency. The ideal candidate will bring sharp analytical thinking, strong governance instincts, and a commitment to delivering measurable value to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Assemble and maintain presentation decks, RAID logs, risk matrices, and project-status reports for steering committees and stakeholder briefings - Track all project action items, coordinate ceremonies such as kick-offs, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, and ensure timely completion across workstreams - Design and chair project steering committees, define escalation paths and stage-gate criteria, and develop comprehensive Project Management Plans covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk - Own the project budget, consolidate forecasts, track actual spend, conduct ROI and cost-benefit analyses, and report financial variances to senior leadership and finance teams - Establish and monitor a benefits-realization framework with KPIs and target-state metrics, driving corrective actions when projected value drifts from plan - Maintain a portfolio-level risk register, proactively identify inter-project risks, lead mitigation planning, and escalate issues that exceed predefined thresholds - Oversee formal project closure including final benefit verification, financial reconciliation, lessons-learned sessions, and publication of a Project Playbook for future initiatives - Align project prioritization with corporate strategy, manage resource capacity planning, and provide coaching and training support to project managers and team participants Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline - Professional certification in one or more of the following: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMO-CP, P3O, or PMI-ACP - Minimum 10 years of experience in project management with demonstrated PMO leadership in a financial services or regulated environment - Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project or Jira Advanced Roadmaps for scheduling, tracking, and portfolio reporting - Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Power Pivot, pivot tables, and data-visualization techniques for dashboards and forecasting models - Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and how to integrate them within a traditionally structured PMO environment - Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and Slack - Working knowledge of TFS Azure concepts to communicate effectively with technical delivery teams Why Join Us BNP Paribas is the European Union's leading bank with operations across 65 countries and a workforce of nearly 185,000 employees globally, making it one of the most reputable and stable financial institutions in the world. Requirements

- 10+ years of project management experience in a PMO or governance role - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - PMP, PRINCE2, PMO-CP, P3O, or PMI-ACP certification preferred - Expert-level Microsoft Project or Jira Advanced Roadmaps proficiency - Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Power Pivot, and data visualization - Experience with portfolio-level risk registers and mitigation planning - Budget ownership, cost tracking, and variance reporting experience - Knowledge of Agile and Scrum ceremonies and backlog management - Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and Slack - Strong stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills - Financial services or regulated industry background preferred - Working knowledge of TFS Azure concepts
