Team Leader - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Role Overview Huron is a global consulting firm that partners with healthcare organisations to drive performance, optimise operations, and deliver superior patient outcomes. As a Team Leader in the Revenue Cycle Management group, you will oversee a team of 15 to 20 FTEs, manage work allocation, lead client interactions, and ensure timely generation and distribution of RCM metrics reports to the leadership team. This is a critical leadership role that demands strong analytical capability, deep knowledge of RCM processes, and the ability to work in US time zone shifts including night shifts. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage a team of 15 to 20 FTEs, conducting periodic performance reviews and recommending improvement plans as needed - Oversee day-to-day work allocation and distribution to ensure smooth operational flow and SLA adherence - Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational metrics reports using MS Excel from Practice Management and Billing Systems - Analyse RCM data trends and patterns, identifying AR issues and initiating corrective action plans - Create and maintain operational scorecards to track KPIs and support volume forecasting and capacity planning - Interact with clients effectively, presenting performance gaps, trends, and actionable insights to Team Managers - Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodology and recommend automation of repetitive tasks - Perform ad hoc data analysis and generate management reports accurately and on time Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of overall industry experience with at least 3 years in healthcare billing and RCM functions using Epic - Thorough understanding of RCM processes including Accounts Receivables, Denial Management, Days in AR, Ageing above 90 days, Collections, and Bad Debt - Proficient in MS Excel including creation of Excel macros - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative abilities with experience handling multiple reporting tasks simultaneously - Graduate in any discipline with solid verbal and written communication skills in English - Willingness to work in night shifts aligned to US business hours Why Join Us Huron offers a collaborative, innovation-driven culture where your expertise directly shapes healthcare outcomes for clients across the globe.
