Team Leader - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Role Overview Huron is a leading consulting firm helping healthcare organizations drive growth, optimize operations, and deliver better patient outcomes. As an RCM Team Lead at Huron, you will play a pivotal role in managing a team of 15 to 20 FTEs, overseeing revenue cycle operations, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for healthcare billing functions. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day work allocation and performance monitoring for a team of 15 to 20 billing professionals - Maintain a thorough understanding of RCM processes including Accounts Receivables, Denial Management, Days in AR, Ageing above 90 days, Collections, and Bad Debt - Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational metrics reports using MS Excel and billing or practice management systems - Identify trends, patterns, and gaps in AR data and initiate action plans to resolve outstanding issues - Create and maintain daily operational scorecards to track KPIs, support volume forecasting, and assist in capacity planning - Conduct periodic team performance reviews and recommend performance improvement plans where necessary - Engage effectively with US clients and leadership, communicating insights derived from data and report analysis - Recommend process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodology and suggest automation of repetitive reporting tasks Required Qualifications - Graduate in any discipline with 5 or more years of overall industry experience - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in healthcare billing functions with proficiency in Epic - Strong command of MS Excel including the ability to create macros and perform complex data analysis - Sound knowledge of RCM metrics and healthcare revenue cycle workflows - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions - Willingness to work in night shifts aligned with US business hours Why Join Us At Huron, you will be part of a collaborative, innovation-driven culture that values continuous learning, diversity, and meaningful impact. - 5 or more years of experience in healthcare RCM or billing operations - Minimum 3 years of experience in billing functions using Epic - Proven experience managing a team of 15 to 20 FTEs - Strong proficiency in MS Excel including macro creation and data analysis - In-depth knowledge of RCM metrics such as Days in AR, Denial Management, and Collections - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology for process improvement - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Willingness to work night shifts or US business hours - Graduate degree in any discipline
