Supervising Associate - Strategic Pricing and Insights

Role Overview EY GDS is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Supervising Associate to join its Strategic Pricing and Insights team under the Commercial Excellence function. In this role, you will deliver financial and commercial support for large, complex client engagements, helping EY develop winning pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability. You will work closely with pursuit teams, apply advanced financial modeling techniques, and contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing frameworks and tools. Key Responsibilities - Assist in preparing business cases, charging models, and client-facing proposals and presentations for major pursuits - Build financial models and conduct cost-to-serve analyses using Microsoft Excel and EY's internal pricing tools - Gather and integrate competitive intelligence including price benchmarks, solution comparisons, and market positioning data - Draft financial and commercial summaries for client discussions and internal deal reviews during negotiations - Contribute to price testing against market benchmarks and develop positioning strategies based on client willingness-to-pay - Help evaluate input-based, output-based, and outcome-based commercial models to protect margins while delivering client value - Collect market intelligence and economic data to support price positioning and value articulation - Ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing assets and drive adoption of best-practice tools and templates across pursuits - Guide junior team members on tool adoption, pricing methodology, and onboarding activities Required Qualifications - Graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial support functions - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including financial modeling and budgeting - Exposure to professional services environments or dedicated pricing tools is an added advantage - Strong written and spoken English communication skills - Ability to synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders - Comfortable managing multiple priorities and collaborating across geographically distributed teams Why Join Us EY offers a globally connected work environment where you can grow your career across diverse, multidisciplinary teams spanning more than 150 countries. - Graduate in finance, accounting, economics, or related field - 3 to 5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial support - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling - Strong analytical and data synthesis capabilities - Knowledge of economic value estimation and commercial model design - Exposure to professional services or pricing tools is a plus - Excellent English communication skills both oral and written - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and internal compliance
