Structural Engineer (TPC) - Oil and Gas

Role Overview Kushi Civil Structural Consultancy Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer on a contract basis to join our Oil and Gas division based in Chennai. This role demands a seasoned professional with 8 to 12 years of hands-on structural engineering experience, particularly within Oil and Gas and chemical plant environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and the ability to manage design responsibilities from concept through execution. Key Responsibilities - Lead and execute structural design for Oil and Gas and chemical processing projects including both greenfield and brownfield developments - Design modular structures and ensure compliance with applicable international standards and client specifications - Interpret and translate client requirements into actionable design inputs and engineering deliverables - Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software tools including STAAD Pro, SAP-2000, Mat3D, and Foundation 3D - Apply American design standards such as ACI, AISC 360, AISC 341, AISC 358, ASCE-7, ASCE Petrochemical Facilities Standards, and PIP specifications throughout the project lifecycle - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and project delivery timelines are met Required Qualifications - 8 to 12 years of relevant structural engineering experience in Oil and Gas and chemical projects - Strong knowledge of modular structure design principles - Demonstrated experience with greenfield and brownfield project environments - Proficiency in structural analysis software including STAAD Pro, SAP-2000, Mat3D, and Foundation 3D - In-depth working knowledge of American standards including ACI, AISC 360, 341 and 358, ASCE-7, ASCE Petrochemical Facilities Standards, and PIPs - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team coordination - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Why Join Us Kushi Civil Structural Consultancy offers you the opportunity to work on challenging and high-impact Oil and Gas projects with a reputed consultancy that values technical excellence.
