Structural Engineer (TPC) - Oil and Gas

Role Overview Kushi Civil Structural Consultancy Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in Oil and Gas projects to join our team in Chennai on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in structural design and engineering for O and G and chemical process facilities. You will work on challenging greenfield and brownfield projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound and client-focused solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design and review structural systems for Oil and Gas and chemical plant projects including modular structures and foundations - Understand and interpret client requirements and gather necessary inputs for effective design execution - Perform structural analysis using software tools such as STAAD Pro, SAP-2000, Mat3D, and Foundation 3D - Apply American standards including ACI, AISC 360, AISC 341 and 358, ASCE-7, ASCE Petrochemical Facilities Standards, and PIP specifications - Support both greenfield and brownfield project phases from concept through detailed engineering - Coordinate with project teams and communicate design outputs clearly through verbal and written channels Required Qualifications - 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in structural engineering with significant exposure to O and G and chemical projects - Strong working knowledge of modular structure design principles - Proficiency in structural analysis tools such as STAAD Pro, SAP-2000, Mat3D, and Foundation 3D - In-depth understanding of American design codes including ACI, AISC, ASCE-7, and PIP standards - Experience handling both greenfield and brownfield project environments - Effective verbal and written communication skills for client and team interaction Why Join Us Kushi Civil Structural Consultancy offers you the chance to work on high-impact engineering projects across the Oil and Gas sector with a technically driven and collaborative team.
