Role Overview
Infosys is seeking a seasoned Senior Lead HR Business Partner to join its Global Markets Operations team. In this strategic role, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR practices with organisational goals while driving process improvements, analytics, and capability building across the employee lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, Centers of Excellence, and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR services and meaningful people interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic HR partner for business units, understanding evolving business priorities and recommending aligned HR solutions
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmations, performance appraisals, grievance handling, employee relations, and separations
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends and develop solutions related to attrition, retention, engagement, and performance improvement
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to assess manpower requirements and ensure timely backfill hiring
- Partner with line managers to identify and coach bottom-quartile performers and build succession pipelines at the middle management level
- Drive project management for HR initiatives such as management training, succession planning, and policy implementation
- Provide compensation support including validation of compensation bands, promotion recommendations, and competency-based resource utilisation
- Facilitate regular communication forums between employees and management to strengthen engagement
- Conduct and analyse exit interviews to derive actionable retention strategies
- Support both internal and external audit requirements related to the employee lifecycle
- Benchmark HR practices against internal and external market best practices to enhance overall employee experience
Required Qualifications
- MBA from a reputed business school (tiered B-school preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an HR Business Partner
- Prior exposure to global markets or sales-facing HR functions is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of HR operations, talent management, performance management, and employee relations
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior business stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Requirements
- MBA from a reputed or tiered business school
