AVEVA MES Engineer

Role Overview Infosys is looking for a talented and motivated AVEVA MES Engineer to join our industrial automation team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will design, configure, and maintain Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions that optimize production operations and quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MES with control systems, PLCs, and enterprise software to build smart factory architectures. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy AVEVA/Wonderware MES solutions for operations and quality tracking - Configure and manage AVEVA System Platform, OMI, and related industrial automation configurations - Support integration of MES solutions with PLCs, industrial systems, and databases using OPC and MQTT protocols - Perform system optimization, troubleshooting, and database programming with SQL Server and .NET - Ensure compliance with industrial control system security guidelines and performance standards - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical documentation Required Qualifications - Two to five years of experience with AVEVA/Wonderware MES and AVEVA System Platform - Proficient in MES modules including Operations, Performance, and Quality management - Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols such as OPC, MQTT, and REST APIs - Solid experience in SQL Server database development and basic .NET programming - Familiarity with enterprise integrations, BOM/Recipe management, and Track & Trace concepts Why Join Us At Infosys, you will work on cutting-edge industrial automation and Industry 4.0 projects for global clients. - 2 to 5 years of experience in AVEVA MES and Wonderware System Platform - Hands-on experience with AVEVA OMI configuration and Application Server - Knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT, REST API) and databases (SQL Server, .NET) - Understanding of manufacturing concepts like BOM, Track & Trace, and Enterprise Integration - Certified AVEVA MES Developer or Application Server Developer is highly preferred
