Principal Technologist - Java Fullstack and Backend

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Technologist with deep expertise in Java Fullstack and Backend development to join our Power Programmer team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge AI and cloud-powered projects, contributing directly to platform innovation and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities - Design and define robust system architecture and technical blueprints for large-scale enterprise applications - Lead coding efforts and drive resolution of complex technical challenges across the stack - Work within a DevOps-driven environment managing CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code - Engage with stakeholders across business and technology teams to align delivery with product goals - Contribute to product development initiatives and guide teams through agile ceremonies including Scrum and Pair Programming - Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using tools such as Terraform and AWS CLI - Monitor system health and performance using tools like InfluxDB, Grafana, Kibana, Sensu, and ELK stack - Build and maintain one-click deployment pipelines and C4 architecture diagrams Required Qualifications - 15 or more years of overall experience in software engineering with a strong Java background - Proficiency in Java 11 and above, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate - Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Mesos/Marathon - Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, and DynamoDB - Experience with relational and non-relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL - Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress and Jest - Secondary skills in Python are preferred - Experience with Git, Peer Reviewing, and agile development practices - Minimum 2 years of product development experience Why Join Us At Infosys, you will work alongside world-class mentors and technologists on transformative projects that shape global enterprises.
