Design Verification Engineer (Staff)

Role Overview Graphcore is seeking a highly skilled Staff Design Verification Engineer to join our newly established AI Engineering Campus in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be part of the silicon design team and play a critical role in ensuring that the RTL created by the logical design team matches the architectural specifications. You will help drive the verification of advanced semiconductors that power the next generation of artificial intelligence systems. Key Responsibilities - Formulate verification planning, create specifications, and drive functional coverage closure - Provide technical feedback and reviews to architects and silicon design teams - Drive test generation, debug failures, and lead root cause analysis and failure triage - Contribute to and enhance the shared verification infrastructure across multiple engineering sites - Collaborate and communicate effectively with global silicon teams to align on deliverables Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering - Minimum of eight years of professional experience in semiconductor verification - Extensive hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) - Strong foundation in Python scripting and basic programming concepts - Proven track record of applying structured verification processes in CPU or ASIC design environments Why Join Us Join Graphcore, a global leader in AI computing systems under the SoftBank Group, and help build the future of AI technology in a collaborative, inclusive, and high-impact environment.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering. Eight or more years of experience in ASIC or CPU verification. In-depth expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA). Solid scripting skills in Python and familiarity with assembly languages. Experience with LLVM, GCC, design version control systems like Git, and Distributed Resource Management systems (SGE). Excellent communication and team collaboration skills across multiple global sites.
