Senior Clinical System Lead

As a Senior Clinical System Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of clinical systems that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical trials. Key Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, and implementation of clinical systems while ensuring compliance with all functional and regulatory requirements - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define system needs, establish specifications, and deliver solutions that improve clinical trial management and data analysis - Oversee the integration of clinical systems with other technologies and data sources to maintain seamless operation and data consistency - Provide strategic guidance on system enhancements, resolve complex technical issues, and drive continuous performance improvements - Manage relationships with system vendors and key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of updates, support, and alignment with clinical research goals - Support day-to-day scientific operations and mentor team members to achieve quality outcomes Required Qualifications - Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management and/or clinical system design - Proven client-facing experience with strong stakeholder management capabilities - Ability to interpret and apply clinical protocols in a systems context - Proficiency in relevant programming languages, development tools, and system integration practices - Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach - Exposure to Medidata Rave and Veeva platforms is an added advantage - Willingness to work in the 2 PM to 11 PM shift and travel approximately 15 percent as required Why Join Us ICON plc offers a competitive compensation package alongside a comprehensive range of benefits designed to support your well-being and work-life balance, including health insurance, retirement planning, life assurance, an employee assistance programme, and flexible optional benefits.
