Security Architect

Role Overview Accenture is looking for a skilled Security Architect to join its IT and Information Security team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining a robust cloud security framework that supports business objectives and meets performance benchmarks. You will also oversee the documentation of cloud security controls and manage the transition to cloud security-managed operations. Key Responsibilities - Design and establish comprehensive cloud security frameworks aligned with organisational goals and operational standards - Document the implementation of cloud security controls to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep security architecture in step with evolving business strategies - Monitor emerging security threats, assess potential risks, and recommend timely enhancements to the existing security framework - Analyse security incidents and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimise impact - Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to support their professional development - Participate actively in team discussions and contribute practical solutions to work-related challenges Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls - Strong understanding of firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting - Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing cloud security architectures - Solid familiarity with network security protocols and industry best practices - Ability to document security policies and procedures in support of compliance requirements - 15 years of full-time formal education (UG or PG level) Why Join Us Accenture offers a dynamic environment where you can grow into a subject matter expert while working on cutting-edge cloud security challenges.
