Job Description
Role Overview
IBM is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to manage and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud environments. In this role, you will ensure that all infrastructure deployments are scalable, highly available, and secure. You will work closely with IT teams to integrate and deliver cloud solutions based on established architectural designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking components, and databases across various cloud platforms to support business-critical applications
- Implement and manage cloud resources including Virtual Private Clouds, Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage to maintain smooth and uninterrupted operations
- Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot performance issues, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery configurations
- Apply and enforce security measures to ensure cloud infrastructure remains compliant with organizational policies and applicable industry regulations
- Optimize cloud costs through resource right-sizing, usage monitoring, and development of cost-effective infrastructure strategies
- Manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments to support effective container orchestration and application scaling
- Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline integration within cloud infrastructure workflows
Required Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud
- Proficiency in Linux and VMware environments
- Experience with automation tools including Terraform and Ansible
- Demonstrated experience managing cloud migration projects from planning through execution
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management and container orchestration
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Requirements
