Deputy Manager - Procure To Pay

Role Overview IBM Consulting is looking for a Deputy Manager in Procure to Pay (P2P) to join its BPO division, which drives digital transformation through agile methodologies, AI-powered workflows, and process mining. In this role, you will work closely with global clients to manage end-to-end accounts payable functions and contribute to the financial operations of some of the world's most innovative organizations. Key Responsibilities - Oversee accurate invoice receipt, verification, and processing, including both purchase order-based and non-PO-based invoices - Manage vendor master data activities such as creation, updates, verification, cleansing, and duplicate record identification - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain approvals, coding, and resolution of blocked invoices - Prioritize urgent and aging invoices to ensure timely processing within agreed SLAs - Handle manual and automatic payment requests, travel and expense claims, duplicate payment recovery, and payment proposal runs - Ensure all payment and expense entries are posted in accounting systems on time - Resolve vendor queries related to statement reconciliation via calls and emails - Adhere strictly to client Service Level Agreements and operational timelines Required Qualifications - Commerce graduate with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable - Hands-on experience in invoice processing, vendor management, query resolution, and invoice reconciliation - Strong knowledge of payment reporting, reconciliation activities, and accounting software - Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Word - Familiarity with agile methodologies and change management practices - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams - Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required by business needs Why Join Us At IBM Consulting, you will be part of a globally respected organization that invests in your professional development through structured mentoring, educational opportunities, and access to cutting-edge technology platforms including IBM Software and Red Hat.
