Role Overview
OpenHire is seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Team Lead to head our high-performing inside sales division in Chennai. This is an in-office, full-time role built for a strategic leader who excels at closing high-ticket B2C deals and coaching teams to consistently surpass targets. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the inside sales team to ensure consistent achievement of individual and collective targets
- Personally drive and oversee high-ticket B2C sales closures by building strong trust and rapport with prospective clients
- Develop compelling sales strategies, impactful pitches, and effective objection-handling frameworks for the team
- Track key performance indicators including conversion rates, call volumes, and overall revenue pipeline health
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure disciplined lead tracking across the team within the CRM platform
- Conduct regular training and upskilling sessions focused on advanced sales techniques and product knowledge
- Partner with cross-functional leadership to align sales initiatives with broader organisational growth objectives
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in inside sales with a strong B2C background and proven high-value deal closures
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in team leadership and people management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Deep understanding of high-intent lead conversion cycles and end-to-end sales pipeline management
- Proficiency in CRM tools and performance tracking platforms with strong data management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and deliver measurable results in a target-driven environment

Requirements
- 7+ years of inside sales experience with a B2C focus
