Job Description

Role Overview Orbit Verify is urgently hiring a results-driven Sales Engineer with expertise in Instrumentation, Sensors, and Industrial Measurement Solutions for its Chennai office. This is a full-time role suited for a technically sound professional with a strong background in B2B and technical sales across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, energy, or infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with sharp business development skills to drive revenue growth and expand the client base. Key Responsibilities - Identify and develop new business opportunities for instrumentation, sensor, and measurement solution products - Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation and customer visits to proposal submission and deal closure - Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs - Prepare accurate quotations, techno-commercial proposals, and tender documents - Provide pre-sales technical support and coordinate with internal engineering teams for solution fitment - Build and sustain long-term relationships with OEMs, EPC companies, consultants, and end users - Track market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer requirements to identify growth opportunities - Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering - 3 to 5 or more years of experience in technical sales or business development roles - Proven experience selling instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition systems, condition monitoring systems, or industrial measurement solutions - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Self-motivated, target-oriented, and open to travel for client engagement - Knowledge of noise, vibration, structural testing, or industrial monitoring systems is an added advantage Why Join Us Orbit Verify offers a competitive compensation package of 5 to 10 LPA along with a structured work schedule of 5 days a week plus 2 Saturdays per month. Requirements

- 3 to 5 or more years in technical sales or business development - B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, ECE, or EEE - Experience in selling instrumentation, sensors, or measurement solutions - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills - Ability to handle industrial clients across diverse sectors - Knowledge of data acquisition, condition monitoring, or vibration testing systems - Customer-focused mindset with good analytical and problem-solving skills - Willingness to travel for client meetings
