Sales Associate

Role Overview Lenskart.com is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join their retail store team in Chennai. In this role, you will be the face of the brand, ensuring every customer who walks in receives an exceptional shopping experience while contributing directly to store revenue and growth. Key Responsibilities - Greet and welcome walk-in customers warmly and guide them toward the in-store eye check-up clinic - Understand customer needs gathered from the Optometrist and recommend the most suitable eyewear products - Achieve assigned sales targets, eye-test conversion goals, and maintain acceptable return percentages - Operate the point-of-sale system accurately to process customer transactions smoothly - Coordinate with the warehouse for product pickup and verify lens accuracy before handover to customers - Handle customer concerns proactively and resolve issues to ensure high satisfaction levels - Maintain store hygiene, display standards, and security of all equipment and stock units - Follow all standard operating procedures diligently on a day-to-day basis Required Qualifications - Prior experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset - Basic understanding of POS systems or willingness to learn quickly - Ability to meet sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment - Willingness to attend mandatory offline training at a Lenskart Academy as part of onboarding - Comfortable working on store floor tasks including stocktakes and maintaining display standards Why Join Us Lenskart.com is India's fastest growing eyewear brand, backed by leading investors including TPG Capital and IDG Ventures, offering you a dynamic retail career with strong growth potential.
