Quality Assurance Engineer - OLT/ONT

Role Overview Maven Workforce Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in telecom and networking technologies to join their Chennai-based team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in testing OLT and ONT products, validating GPON and XGS-PON networks, and working with modern test automation tools. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for OLT and ONT telecom products - Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on GPON and XGS-PON network solutions - Validate IP networking protocols including Ethernet, VLAN, DHCP, and QoS configurations - Build and maintain automated test suites using Python, Shell Scripting, Selenium, and Robot Framework - Conduct API testing and network validation to ensure product reliability and performance - Work with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and containerised environments via Docker and Kubernetes - Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution in collaboration with development teams Required Qualifications - Proven experience in telecom testing and quality assurance, particularly with OLT/ONT products - Solid understanding of GPON, XGS-PON, Ethernet, VLAN, DHCP, and QoS protocols - Proficiency in Linux operating systems and scripting with Python or Shell - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium and Robot Framework - Familiarity with containerisation tools including Docker and Kubernetes - Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD tools like Jenkins is an added advantage - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Why Join Us Maven Workforce Inc. offers a collaborative work environment where engineers work on cutting-edge telecom products with real-world impact.
