QA Analyst - Automation Testing

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions is looking for a skilled QA Analyst to join its Compliance IT team under the ITT&F - iCHROM division in Chennai. The role involves validating business requirements, executing functional and end-to-end testing, and building automation coverage for compliance data applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a virtual, international, and cross-functional environment with a strong eye for detail and technical depth. Key Responsibilities - Analyse requirements for applications under test and validate assigned user stories - Ensure thorough quality of testing and provide regular advancement reports to the team lead - Automate end-to-end workflows of the application using the Robot Framework - Increase automation and penetration coverage across the application - Coordinate with teams across locations and divisions as required - Drive deliverables for self and team when needed Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent - Strong hands-on experience with automation testing using Robot Framework - Solid understanding of BDD testing and experience building automation frameworks - Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies - Working knowledge of DevOps, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, and ALM Octane - Good knowledge of SQL or MongoDB and API testing is an added advantage - Prior experience in the finance or banking domain is preferred Why Join Us BNP Paribas is the European Union's leading bank operating in 65 countries with nearly 185,000 employees globally, offering an inclusive and diverse workplace where every employee is valued.
