Procurement Operations Specialist

Role Overview IBM Finance and Operations is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist to join their dynamic global team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will act as a single point of contact for procurement professionals and suppliers worldwide, providing expert support for procurement applications, processes, and accounts payable queries. Key Responsibilities - Handle incoming calls and emails from IBM internal clients and global suppliers, maintaining high standards of professional communication - Diagnose root causes of system-related queries and either resolve them directly or escalate to Level 2 support contacts - Maintain accurate call logs for every help request, recording contact details, problem descriptions, and resolutions - Consult knowledge databases to provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries related to procurement applications - Follow up with clients regularly to provide status updates on open tickets and ensure issues are resolved to satisfaction - Apply working knowledge of IBM procurement tools and global procurement organizational structure to deliver effective support Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline - Familiarity with IBM procurement tools, procurement applications, and accounts payable systems - Understanding of global procurement organizational structure including roles and responsibilities - Experience working in or exposure to call center environments with professional call handling skills - Basic problem-solving ability with a focus on identifying root causes and documenting resolutions - Comfort working with knowledge databases to resolve client queries efficiently Why Join Us IBM offers a culture of continuous learning, career development, and collaboration across geographies and functions, giving you the opportunity to grow alongside a globally respected technology leader.
