Role Overview
Rippling is seeking an ambitious and talented Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives in Bengaluru. In this fast-paced, high-growth role, you will coach your team through high-velocity B2B SaaS sales cycles to exceed revenue and quota targets. You will report to the Director of Sales and manage operations aligned with the EST time zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, hire, and scale a dedicated team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth
- Assist AEs throughout strategic sales cycles by mapping customer needs to Rippling's platform value
- Monitor and manage sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, forecasts, and closed deals
- Deliver regular reports on individual and team outcomes to senior leadership
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and recommend process enhancements to boost efficiency
- Participate actively in recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members to ensure rapid ramp-up
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience managing a quota-carrying sales team within a B2B SaaS environment
- Solid track record of accurately forecasting team performance and hitting revenue targets
- Experience selling HRIS, HCM, payroll, or security-related software solutions is preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-velocity, fast-paced startup culture
- Willingness and ability to work regularly during EST shift hours (5:20 PM to 2:30 AM IST)

Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience managing a quota-carrying sales team for a B2B SaaS company
- Strong experience in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and coaching Account Executives
- Prior sales experience with HRIS, HCM, payroll, or IT/security software is highly preferred
- Ability to work night shift hours (EST timezone, 5:20 PM - 2:30 AM IST)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
