Role Overview
A.P. Moller - Maersk, the world's leading integrated container logistics company operating across 130 countries, is looking for an experienced Manager in Growth and Projects to join its India team in Gurugram. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, infrastructure, and business development, offering a unique opportunity to drive high-impact logistics initiatives across a global network. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in logistics or supply chain combined with strong analytical and project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end CFS and ICD infrastructure projects from initial concept through financial evaluation, governance, and operational stabilization
- Conduct business performance analysis, financial modelling, and MIS reporting to support senior leadership decision-making
- Identify and execute logistics network expansion opportunities through commercial feasibility studies and post-launch performance optimisation
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and integration initiatives including synergy tracking, operational alignment, and process harmonisation
- Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and strategic recommendation decks for leadership and management reviews
- Collaborate across commercial, operations, finance, procurement, and regional teams to drive strategic initiatives and resolve cross-functional dependencies
- Engage with senior leadership, regional teams, customers, and external stakeholders to align priorities and deliver business outcomes
Required Qualifications
- 10 or more years of experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or transportation
- Prior exposure to Strategy, Transformation, PMO, Business Excellence, Consulting, or Regional Projects roles is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in financial analysis and MIS reporting
- Sound understanding of CFS and ICD project economics including capex planning, operating cost structures, throughput modelling, and profitability assessment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated experience preparing leadership-level reports
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and project management methodologies
- Experience working with regional or global stakeholders is an added advantage

Requirements
- 10+ years in shipping, logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding
- Experience in Strategy, PMO, Consulting, or Business Excellence roles
