Associate Finance Controller - ATR-7

As an Associate Finance Controller at our Chennai centre, you will take ownership of entity-level books of accounts and play a central role in driving accurate, compliant financial reporting aligned with global standards. Key Responsibilities - Own and maintain entity books of accounts and ensure timely, accurate reporting of financial numbers - Manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting of books - Handle HFM and OneStream reporting for corporate and management accounting - Oversee fixed assets accounting, capitalization processes, and depreciation runs - Perform balance sheet reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and compliance - Deliver all assigned tasks within stipulated timelines and quality benchmarks Required Qualifications - 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting operations - Educational background in MBA Finance, MCom, or BCom - Proficiency in accounting operations including cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing - Familiarity with HFM or OneStream reporting tools is preferred - Willingness to work European shift timings from 12 noon to 9 PM - Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance requirements, and financial controls Why Join Us At Maersk, we offer a collaborative, inclusive, and innovation-driven environment where your contributions directly impact global operations. - 7 to 8 years of experience in finance and accounting - MBA Finance, MCom, or BCom qualification - Experience in HFM or OneStream reporting - Knowledge of fixed assets accounting and depreciation - Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations - Familiarity with cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable - Ability to work European shift timings (12 noon to 9 PM) - Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
