Manager - Consolidation

Role Overview This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, offered through myGwork on behalf of Pfizer, a global pharmaceutical leader. The role of Manager - Consolidation is critical to maintaining accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting Pfizer's mission to deliver life-changing medicines worldwide. You will bring your accounting expertise to a dynamic team environment where precision and continuous improvement are at the heart of every deliverable. Key Responsibilities - Analyze financial data and prepare Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statements, and a range of accounting schedules and financial reports - Oversee and maintain company accounts and financial records with strict adherence to accounting policies, auditing standards, and compliance requirements - Update and reconcile journals, ledgers, and financial transaction records while verifying data accuracy at every stage - Manage data entry and records within the accounting system, ensuring completeness and organized documentation - Engage directly with customers and business partners on complex financial activities and deliver accurate accounting analysis for external accountants and corporate auditors - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley internal control documentation to support internal and external audits - Lead month-end close processes, perform local statutory analytical reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives - Provide support for acquisitions, divestitures, and special projects beyond routine responsibilities - Review the work of junior colleagues and offer informal coaching to support their professional growth - Contribute to global transformational projects as a subject matter expert and apply innovative thinking to improve efficiencies Required Qualifications - Chartered Accountant (CA) with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience - Practical working knowledge of IND AS, US GAAP, and Statutory Accounting standards - Strong understanding of multinational accounting operations - Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong written and oral communication skills in English - Proficiency in MS Office Suite Why Join Us Joining this team means being part of a globally respected organisation that champions inclusion, purpose-driven work, and continuous learning.
