Integrated Logistics Customer Onboarding Configuration Specialist

Role Overview Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an experienced OTM Configuration Specialist to join their Freight Logistics and Operations team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on system configuration to support Customer Onboarding and RUN activities, working alongside the Configuration Lead to deliver accurate, timely, and well-documented configurations. Your contributions will directly impact the movement of critical shipments worldwide, from life-saving medicines to industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities - Configure OTM modules covering order management, shipment planning, rate structures, and automation rules - Set up user roles, screen layouts, and domain configurations in line with established standards - Perform unit testing and actively support SIT and UAT phases by resolving configuration-related issues - Maintain thorough documentation, audit trails, and project updates using tools such as JIRA and Monday.com - Collaborate with Configuration Leads, Solution teams, and subcontractors to manage and resolve cross-functional dependencies - Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives and stay current with OTM platform capabilities Required Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in OTM configuration - Strong understanding of OTM data structures and end-to-end process flows - Prior experience working in configuration-driven project environments is preferred - Good analytical skills with SQL knowledge considered an added advantage - Detail-oriented approach with strong documentation discipline - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Why Join Us Kuehne+Nagel is a globally recognised logistics leader operating in over 100 countries, offering employees world-class learning and development opportunities, a people-centric culture, and a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. - Minimum 6 years of OTM configuration experience - Strong knowledge of OTM data structures and process flows - Experience in configuration-driven project environments - Proficiency with JIRA and Monday.com or similar project tools - SQL knowledge is an advantage - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent documentation and communication skills - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
