Infrastructure Specialist Red Hat DevOps

Role Overview As an Infrastructure Specialist with Red Hat OpenShift expertise, you will design and implement creative migration and modernization strategies for virtualized environments. You will leverage your deep knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and various virtualization technologies to manage cloud platforms effectively. This role requires extensive experience in implementing, customizing, and optimizing enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities - Implement, customize, and operate Red Hat OpenShift platform ensuring high availability and load balancing across on-premise, public cloud, and as-a-service deployments - Manage middleware applications and maintain seamless integration with virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, RHV, and CloudVM - Monitor, log, and ensure security compliance for platforms and applications using Red Hat OpenShift expertise - Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues leveraging deep understanding of Red Hat OpenShift and associated technologies - Maintain platform availability by performing recovery and tuning tasks to ensure optimal performance Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in any discipline - 7 to 9 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies - Proven experience with containerization and various virtualization platforms - Strong expertise in implementing and managing Red Hat OpenShift environments - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance in complex infrastructure environments Why Join Us Join IBM, a global technology leader, and work on cutting-edge infrastructure modernization projects.
