Role Overview
Accenture's Health and Public Services Strategy team is looking for a seasoned Manager to lead and support Mergers and Acquisitions activities across the healthcare landscape, covering payers, providers, and digital health organisations. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives including commercial due diligence, market analysis, investment strategy formulation, and post-merger integration to help clients realise value and achieve sustainable growth. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape transformative healthcare deals and expand Accenture's growing Healthcare M&A advisory practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of end-to-end M&A strategies for corporate and private equity clients across the healthcare ecosystem including payers, providers, diagnostics, and health tech
- Contribute to target identification, strategic fit assessments, commercial due diligence, synergy estimation, and integration planning across the full deal lifecycle
- Build and validate financial and strategic models including valuations, synergy cases, and scenario analyses to support C-suite and board-level decision making
- Lead post-merger integration efforts covering operating model harmonisation, cultural alignment, and synergy tracking to preserve business continuity
- Collaborate with senior leaders and pursuit teams to develop proposals, client pitch materials, and presentations for executive and board stakeholders
- Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, internal accelerators, and industry forums while mentoring junior consultants on M&A and integration delivery
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience with at least 3 to 4 years in a consulting or strategic role focused on healthcare M&A or related transactions in US or Middle East markets
- Deep expertise in the US or Middle East healthcare industry across payer and provider business models including value-based care, care management, revenue cycle, and network design
- Proven experience in financial modelling, business case development, valuation, and deal lifecycle management
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to distil complex findings into concise strategic recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Commerce, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate degree from a Tier 1 B-School preferred
- Exposure to private equity or venture capital in healthcare and digital health or health tech is an added advantage

Requirements
- Deep knowledge of US or Middle East healthcare industry across payer and provider models
- Extensive M&A lifecycle experience including due diligence, target identification, and integration planning
- Strong financial and strategic modelling skills including valuations and synergy analysis
- Post-merger integration experience with operating model harmonisation and synergy tracking
- Executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience in commercial due diligence and market and competitive analysis
- Exposure to private equity or venture capital in healthcare is a plus
- Familiarity with digital health or health tech business models is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Commerce, or related discipline
- MBA or postgraduate degree from a Tier 1 B-School preferred
