GBS Preferred Customer Associate

Role Overview UPS is looking for a dedicated GBS Preferred Customer Associate to join its Chennai operations team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for UPS Preferred accounts, delivering personalised and high-quality customer service experiences. You will be responsible for managing customer concerns from start to finish, ensuring complete resolution with professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities - Provide one-to-one customer support to UPS Preferred account holders - Analyse and resolve account-related issues including tracing and claims inquiries - Maintain complete ownership of customer cases through to final resolution - Conduct follow-up outreach and make outbound calls as required - Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal teams such as Billing, Delivery Information, and Operations Required Qualifications - High school diploma, GED, or an internationally recognised equivalent - Strong oral and written communication skills in English - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities - Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory - Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer situations simultaneously Why Join Us UPS is one of the top 500 most significant companies in the world, offering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous growth.
