Delivery Operations Associate Manager - Property and Casualty Underwriting

Role Overview Accenture is hiring a Delivery Operations Associate Manager to join its General Insurance operations team in Bengaluru. This role is focused on US Property and Casualty insurance and involves managing underwriting operations, claims processing, and portfolio management within an intelligent insurance operating model. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge in P&C insurance along with strong leadership and analytical capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end underwriting and claims operations including adjudication, portfolio management, and fraud detection - Set and monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements for the insurance operations team - Manage and mentor a high-performing team of insurance professionals, conducting regular performance reviews - Analyze operational metrics such as loss ratios, loss development triangles, and underwriting leakage to drive profitability - Collaborate with executive leadership, brokers, agents, reinsurers, and legal teams to align operational plans with corporate strategy - Lead teams through process transitions, system upgrades, and changes in business strategy - Support new business setup and renewal submissions including data gathering, rating, quoting, and clearance activities Required Qualifications - Any graduation degree with 10 to 14 years of relevant experience in US Property and Casualty insurance operations - Strong understanding of insurance underwriting processes, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements - Hands-on experience with core insurance technology platforms and advanced data analytics tools - Proven ability to manage medium to small-sized teams and deliver results with minimal supervision - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels - Certifications such as CPCU or AINS are preferred Why Join Us Accenture offers a globally connected work environment where you can grow your career alongside 784,000 professionals serving clients across more than 120 countries.
