CODESYS PLC Automation Engineer

Role Overview L&T Technology Services is seeking a skilled CODESYS PLC Automation Engineer with 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience and strong multi-OEM expertise. This is a full-time opportunity available across multiple locations including Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, and Mysuru. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge in industrial automation, PLC programming, and system integration across diverse OEM platforms. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement PLC programs using CODESYS based on IEC 61131-3 standards including ST, FBD, LD, and SFC - Work with multiple OEM platforms such as Beckhoff, WAGO, Schneider, ABB, IFM, and IPC-based systems - Configure and manage industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, and Profinet - Design and develop HMI and SCADA solutions including visualizations, alarm management, and operational dashboards - Lead and execute PLC migration projects from Rockwell or Siemens platforms to CODESYS environments - Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and end-to-end system integration activities - Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust automation solutions Required Qualifications - 8 to 12 years of experience in PLC and industrial automation engineering - Proficiency in CODESYS development across at least 3 to 4 OEM platforms - Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and network architecture - Experience in manufacturing or process automation domains - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in customer-facing roles - Exposure to IIoT, Edge solutions, Ignition SCADA, industrial networking, or Linux-based environments is an added advantage Why Join Us L&T Technology Services is a globally recognized engineering services company offering challenging projects across cutting-edge industrial automation domains.
