Role Overview Lateral Mgt Services (P) Ltd is expanding its dedicated Cyber Security Services division and is looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition across Chennai and Bengaluru. This field-based role involves engaging with MSMEs, startups, and mid-sized enterprises to help them protect their digital infrastructure, achieve regulatory compliance, and strengthen their overall security posture. Key Responsibilities - Identify and prospect potential clients across sectors including manufacturing, IT, healthcare, education, retail, and financial services - Generate qualified leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, networking events, and industry associations - Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand cyber security requirements and present relevant solutions - Coordinate with internal technical teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations - Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts while meeting monthly and quarterly revenue targets - Promote services such as Cyber Security Audits, VAPT, Managed Security Services, ISO 27001 Readiness Consulting, Endpoint and Email Security Solutions, and Incident Response Support - Build long-term client relationships and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities - Maintain accurate CRM records and submit weekly sales activity reports tracking leads from generation to closure Required Qualifications - Any graduate degree; MBA in Marketing is preferred but not mandatory - 1 to 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT services, software, telecom, cloud, or cyber security solutions - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage business owners, CXOs, and IT decision-makers - Self-motivated and target-driven with comfort in field sales and regular client visits - An existing business network in Chennai or Bengaluru is a strong advantage Why Join Us This role offers direct access to high-level decision-makers, career progression paths into Sales Manager and Regional Business Head positions, and strong backing from experienced technical and delivery teams. Requirements

- 1 to 5 years of B2B sales experience in IT services, software, telecom, cloud, or cyber security - Strong communication, presentation, and client engagement skills - Proven ability to negotiate and close deals with senior decision-makers - Self-motivated with a target-driven and field-sales-ready mindset - Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting - Existing client network in Chennai or Bengaluru is an advantage - Any graduate degree; MBA in Marketing preferred
