Business Advisory Associate - Retail Banking Card Operations

Role Overview Accenture is hiring a Business Advisory Associate to support retail banking card operations at its Chennai delivery centre. This role sits within Accenture's Banking Operations practice, which helps financial institutions transform their operations into agile, resilient models capable of meeting evolving customer expectations and regulatory demands. As part of a focused team, you will play an important role in reviewing and resolving card dispute claims in line with applicable banking regulations. Key Responsibilities - Review incoming card dispute and chargeback claims to assess their validity and authenticity - Process and honour chargeback requests in compliance with Regulation E guidelines - Handle routine operational problems by referencing established precedents and general procedural guidelines - Coordinate with your immediate team and direct supervisor to ensure accurate and timely resolution of assigned tasks - Follow detailed instructions for day-to-day tasks and adapt to guidance provided for new assignments - Contribute as an individual team member within a defined and focused operational scope Required Qualifications - Any graduate degree from a recognised university - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in banking operations or card services - Working knowledge of retail banking functions such as account management, KYC, transaction processing, and card operations - Familiarity with dispute resolution processes and Regulation E or equivalent card chargeback frameworks - Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required by business needs - Good communication skills and ability to follow structured operational processes Why Join Us Accenture is one of the world's leading professional services companies, with over 784,000 professionals serving clients across more than 120 countries, offering you a global platform to grow your career.
