Role Overview
Accenture is hiring a Business Advisory Associate to support its Banking Operations practice in Chennai. This role focuses on Retail Banking Card Operations, specifically handling card dispute and chargeback claims in line with regulatory standards. You will be part of a team that helps banking clients transform their operations into agile, efficient, and customer-focused models.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess dispute claims to determine the authenticity of card chargeback requests
- Process claims in compliance with Regulation E guidelines and internal banking policies
- Handle routine operational problems by referencing established procedures and general guidelines
- Collaborate closely with your immediate team and report to a direct supervisor
- Execute daily work tasks based on detailed to moderate-level instructions and follow thorough guidance on new assignments
- Contribute as an individual team member within a defined and focused scope of work
Required Qualifications
- Any graduate degree from a recognised institution
- 1 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in banking or financial services operations
- Familiarity with banking services including account management, KYC, credit card processing, and transaction handling
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required by the business
- Good analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail
