Business Advisory Associate - Retail Banking Card Operations

Role Overview Accenture is looking for a driven Business Advisory Associate to join its Banking Operations practice in Chennai. In this role, you will support retail banking clients by reviewing card dispute claims and chargeback requests, ensuring they are processed accurately and in compliance with Regulation E. You will be part of a high-performing team that helps banking clients build agile, resilient operations while maintaining regulatory standards and superior customer experience. Key Responsibilities - Review and assess card chargeback and dispute claims to verify their authenticity and eligibility for resolution - Process claims in accordance with Regulation E guidelines and internal banking operations protocols - Handle routine operational problems by following established precedents and referring to general process guidelines - Collaborate within your immediate team and report to your direct supervisor on task progress and escalations - Execute daily work tasks with moderate-level instruction and adapt quickly to new assignments with detailed guidance provided - Maintain accuracy and compliance standards while managing individual work output as part of a focused team structure Required Qualifications - Any graduation degree from a recognised university - 1 to 3 years of experience in banking services, card operations, or related financial services roles - Working knowledge of retail banking operations including KYC, account management, credit card processing, and payment facilitation - Familiarity with Regulation E and card dispute resolution processes is an added advantage - Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow process guidelines consistently - Good communication skills for effective interaction within team and with supervisors Why Join Us Accenture is a globally recognised professional services leader operating across more than 120 countries, offering you a career built on innovation, continuous learning, and real impact.
