Role Overview
Accenture is hiring a Business Advisory Associate to join its Banking Operations team in Chennai. In this entry-level role, you will support retail banking card operations with a focus on dispute resolution and chargeback processing. You will work within a structured team environment, contributing to the transformation of banking operations into agile and resilient models that meet regulatory and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate dispute claims to determine the authenticity of card chargeback requests
- Process chargeback claims in compliance with Regulation E guidelines
- Handle routine operational problems by referencing established precedents and general guidelines
- Coordinate daily tasks under moderate supervision from your direct team lead
- Contribute as an individual team member within a clearly defined and focused scope of work
- Work in rotational shifts as required by the project
Required Qualifications
- Any graduation degree from a recognised university
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in banking services or financial operations
- Familiarity with retail banking processes such as account management, KYC, credit card operations, and payment processing
- Understanding of card dispute management and chargeback regulations including Regulation E
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process-driven guidelines accurately
- Good communication skills for effective interaction within the team
