Business Advisory Associate - Retail Banking Card Operations

Role Overview Accenture is hiring a Business Advisory Associate to support retail banking card operations at its Chennai delivery centre. In this role, you will help banking clients improve operational efficiency, meet regulatory obligations, and deliver a seamless experience to their end customers. You will be part of a focused team working on card dispute resolution and chargeback management under Regulation E guidelines. Key Responsibilities - Review incoming dispute claims to assess the authenticity of card chargeback requests and process them in compliance with Regulation E - Analyse routine banking operations queries and resolve them by applying established procedures and general guidelines - Coordinate closely with your immediate team members and reporting supervisor to ensure accurate and timely task completion - Handle daily banking operations tasks including transaction processing, account management support, and related card services activities - Contribute as an individual team member within a structured scope of work, ensuring quality and productivity standards are consistently met - Work across rotational shifts as required by business needs Required Qualifications - Any graduate degree from a recognised university - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in banking operations, card services, or a related financial services domain - Working knowledge of retail banking products such as credit cards, debit cards, loans, and payment processing - Familiarity with KYC processes, account management, and banking transaction workflows - Ability to follow detailed instructions on new assignments and moderate-level guidance on routine tasks - Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound decisions within a defined scope of work Why Join Us Accenture is a globally recognised professional services leader with operations in over 120 countries and a workforce of more than 784,000 professionals delivering digital, cloud, and security solutions. - Any graduation from a recognised university - 1 to 3 years of experience in banking or card operations - Knowledge of retail banking services including cards, loans, and payments - Understanding of KYC and account management processes - Familiarity with Regulation E and card chargeback procedures - Ability to work in rotational shifts - Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking - Good communication and teamwork skills
