Banking Operations Senior Analyst

Role Overview Accenture is hiring a Banking Operations Senior Analyst to join its Intelligent Operations team in Chennai. In this role, you will help banking clients modernise their core operations, improve efficiency, and meet evolving regulatory and customer demands. You will work within a globally connected team that transforms traditional banking processes into agile, resilient operating models. Key Responsibilities - Perform end-to-end retail banking account operations including account opening, KYC, account maintenance, and account closure - Process daily banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payment facilitation via SWIFT, EFT, and related channels - Handle specialised processing tasks including deceased customer accounts and US legal order processing - Analyse and resolve increasingly complex operational problems with minimal supervision - Collaborate with peers and interact with clients or Accenture management as required - Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory compliance and internal security standards Required Qualifications - Any graduation degree from a recognised institution - 5 to 8 years of experience in core banking or retail banking account operations - Intermediate proficiency in English (Domestic communication) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach - Ability to perform consistently under pressure and manage multiple priorities - Good collaboration and interpersonal skills for working within cross-functional teams Why Join Us Accenture is one of the world's leading professional services companies, empowering over 784,000 professionals across more than 120 countries with capabilities in digital, cloud, security, and intelligent operations. - 5 to 8 years of experience in core banking or retail banking operations - Hands-on knowledge of account opening, KYC, and account maintenance processes - Experience with payment processing systems such as SWIFT and EFT - Familiarity with US legal order processing and deceased customer handling - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure - Good collaboration and interpersonal communication skills - Intermediate English proficiency for domestic communication - Any graduation degree
