Banking Operations Associate

Role Overview Accenture is seeking a Banking Operations Associate to join its Intelligent Operations team in Chennai. In this role, you will support core banking functions that help clients transform their banking operations into agile, efficient, and compliant service models. You will be part of a global professional services leader that serves clients across more than 120 countries with capabilities spanning digital, cloud, and security. Key Responsibilities - Perform day-to-day retail banking account operations including account opening, KYC processing, and account maintenance - Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payment facilitation including SWIFT and EFT transfers - Handle account closure requests, deceased customer processing, and US legal order processing - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security guidelines - Resolve routine operational issues by following established precedents and general guidelines - Coordinate effectively within your team and report to your direct supervisor on daily task progress Required Qualifications - Any graduation degree from a recognised university - 1 to 3 years of experience in banking or financial services operations - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Adaptable, flexible, and capable of quick learning - Commitment to delivering quality outcomes consistently - Willingness to work in rotational shifts Why Join Us At Accenture, you will be part of a workforce of over 784,000 professionals worldwide, gaining exposure to cutting-edge banking transformation projects.
